The Barn is Rising
This week the Dolan-Jenks 19th century Barn, moved from Green River road, has started to be rebuilt on the grounds of the Williamstown Historical Museum. You are welcome to visit the museum in the next week or so to view the unique raising of a barn. Using the 160 year old hand-hewn timbers, David Babcock, of Babcock Bros Restoration, is using his barn restoration skills to construct the classic post and beam structure. It will be a special process and worthwhile to witness.
